The song library is fine if you just want the basic stuff, but it feels like all the newer songs everyone wants are missing. It gets the job done, but I definitely wish there was more current music in there

The lessons are really clear and simple to keep up with. I could tell quickly that the way everything is explained just makes sense, and it felt natural to follow along without getting lost...

I actually like the lessons themselves — the songs are fun, and the layout makes sense when everything is working. The problem is that “when” is doing a lot of work here. I’ve had lessons freeze, audio drift out of sync, and my keyboard just refuse to connect unless I restart the whole setup.
Support was fine and tried to help, but the issues still pop up often enough that I end up losing practice time. For something I’m paying for, I guess I expected a little less troubleshooting and a little more playing.

The lessons themselves might be fine, but using the app was a pain. It feels clunky, freezes sometimes, and the buttons do not always respond when they should. I also kept having trouble finding where I left off. I felt like I spent more time fighting with the app than actually playing, so it just was not worth the hassle for me.

I plugged in my MIDI keyboard and felt that little rush I used to get when I first started learning songs years ago. It just worked right away, which was such a relief. The notes show up quickly on screen, so practicing feels smoother and way less frustrating. I’ve been using Playground Sessions for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with it.

The lessons themselves are decent and easy to follow, but for the monthly cost I expected a few more features. I also felt kind of passed around when I had questions, which made the whole experience a little more frustrating than it needed to be.

Overall, I thought the lessons were good, especially considering the price. Some of the instructors explain things in a really simple, easy-to-follow way, and I liked when they slowed things down and showed their hands on screen. That made a big difference for me as a beginner.

That said, a few lessons felt a little rushed, and I wish they spent more time on common beginner mistakes. I’m always a bit careful about what I spend on courses, so I wouldn’t say it felt perfect, but it was still useful and worth it if you don’t expect every instructor to be equally strong.

I had a problem with my account, so I reached out to support thinking it would be a simple thing to sort out.

It took a long time to get replies, and when someone finally did respond, it felt like they hadn’t really read what I wrote. I kept getting just basic replies that didn’t actually fix the issue.

After a few messages back and forth, I just gave up. The lessons might be fine, but the support experience was really frustrating for me

Like I said, I’m still feeling more stuck than I expected. I thought I’d be seeing a bit more progress by now, but like I said, it’s been moving slowly for me.
